Couple of questions how is this guy Palmer getting these stories which most of them turns out to be true before anyone else in the club? There must be a mole in the club feeding him this information which should be hunted out and given the boot. Question two what is wrong with this club that we can sign these class players with good contracts only for them to want out with the team top of the league with only a third of the games played?

I think AP answered your points in a previous post but you are correct about someone feeding JP with stuff that's not good for the club.
I can't imagine JP has any love for City so it's probably good for his ego to do a bit of stirring when it suits him.....

We’re not used to this attention in our players, means we’re doing something right, I can’t remember too much interest in our players when we were struggling for to stay up every year,

We also cannot stop people from writing whatever they want ... paper doesn't refuse ink. Alex has now pretty much left the club ... I expect him to sign the papers tonight ... then we'll release the statement late tonight/ in the morning ... but he's in effect buying himself out of his contract.
Liam is a top bloke and a personal friend, he's has been made an improved offer from Barnet and it's a opportunity he can't not look at for himself and his young family. He would like to stay, but we cannot match what's being offered ... so if Barnet make us an offer for him, we'll have to consider it ... but currently i've not had an offer, but i'm aware Barnet have spoken to Liam. BUT this is 100% above board and Liam would stay i'm sure of it if we could match the terms ... but we can't ... we want him to stay ... but ... sometimes in life .... well ... life gets in the way ... this is with our blessing and we are aware of everything ...
Stick with us ... We will have one coming in very soon and more to follow ... we've started something special and if people don't want to stay ... they go.
Liam is different though ... don't forget that! That's sadly life, business and football ...

Liam Daly is definitely not in the category as 1 or 2 of the mercenaries we’ve seen lately. I like AP has said class him as a good friend and everything AP has said is bang on the money and true. Absolutely gutted he’s off but as he said to me he’s gotta think of his family which is totally understandable.
On the plus side we’re still invited to his house party ?

Thats a massive shame about Daly, but at least he’s doing things the right way and he’s going to a team in a higher division,unfortunately he offered a lot off the field aswell as on it,Barnet need him badly by the looks of their goals against record!!!

Thanks for the honest update AP, I struggle with the fact we are top yet most of JR’s assembled squad are leaving in droves.
Jake Cole must be looking over his shoulder ( granted yet to play due to other keepers, ass manager role et al) , what is his future?
Gavin Gunning again recovering from surgery must be wondering if he will recognise anyone in the changing room on his return.
If LD leaves give the captaincy to GG.

Wonder if AW is paying his own cash to buy up his contract or a certain club is doing a bit of a fly one ?I have my suspicions ,so I will wait and see were he ends up by the end of the week? ( we shall see ).
