Yeah that’s a fair point.

On a separate note, I’m pretty sure that’s the first penalty shootout I’ve ever witnessed and didn’t realise how hard it was to keep up with the scores with no scoreboard to keep me updated!

One thing surprised me last night was the re-emergence of Victor Nirrenold. Where has he been?

Can you whatsapp it to me?

Can you spot yourself in the crowd at Brackley? http://www.tigerroar.co.uk/spf/cityatbrackley.jpg

A bit on Radio Gloucestershire from this morning at about 1:51:20 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0fg6gv7

I don't have a face for TV nor do I have a voice for radio!

I was thinking the same thing in the coach on the way home. For a long time it felt like the connection between players and fans was lost (at least for me anyway), possibly due to the high turnover we had at times, but since King came in and especially since we've had a settled side that bond has been re-formed. Would be such a shame to not see some of these players again. It's also small things like the huddle before kick off which we did for decades it seemed, suddenly stopped, and even that's back now.

And scarves thrown into crowd before game.

Neil - you've got a face and voice for photography, thankfully for us city fans

Was it just me who thought the torch lights at the Brackley end shone just on our penalty takers was out of order. Seemed akin to using lasers. That aside after all that has gone on this season it was a triumph to get there and to feel we were good enough to go further. Credit to all the many players who turned out for us this season and us the fans for being there. And if you were at the home match against Buxton you know what I mean!

That's the first time we have lost a playoff penalty shoot out, Shandy  told me that fact!

Was only trying to cheer you up Gord, you were in pieces
