That aside after all that has gone on this season it was a triumph to get there and to feel we were good enough to go further. Credit to all the many players who turned out for us this season and us the fans for being there. And if you were at the home match against Buxton you know what I mean!

Id never seen that happen before but when I watched the Woking v Bromley game after ours last night the woking fans did the same thing for a Bromley penalty. I agree it seems out of order but maybe it doesn’t put them off.

The only light on for there's was in the bottom left corner where I think all 5 of their pens went. A target to aim for?

RE: Brackley - Neil - 05-05-2023

We scored every penalty when they were shining those phone lights. Still, wankers.

RE: Brackley - Daveangel - 05-05-2023

Read a bit about this. If they’d have been at our end I’d have done everything in my power to put their takers off. Phone lights, air horns, anti aircraft missile launchers (I’d forgotten it anyway), so I must be a Tommy Tanker as well. Smile

You're either a wanker or a liar.

Not being harsh but Brandon didn't look like saving one of those penalties.
Strange Armstrong didn't play after the great performance against Chorley
Perhaps King went for experience.
Still it's been a great season

Just to add to this, if my camera had a flash on it I wouldn't be allowed to use it. The referee should've acted.

He made a good save for the one-on-one, but I thought Armstrong looked quite nervous in the first half of the Chorley game, so reckon Hall was the right call for Brackley game.  Wonder whether Brandon’s superior distribution was a factor in the selection given how big Brackley’s pitch is.
