Brackley, also in a border county, should also be considered. Didn’t Worcester petition the League a few yes back to stay in the south hence we got dicked around a lot?

No Maidenhead would not go down and if 3 happened to go down Ebbsfleet and Fylde would be other 2 anyway. We would move over Brackley for sure. The Conference allowed Worcester to stay in the South for 3 years, but after our promotion showed up how stupid that was I can't see them ever doing that again.

Worth adding that Sky Sports News are reporting that no one will be promoted or relegated from Step 2 although I don't believe that to be correct from all the other sources.

Looks like we might get some play-offs at step 2 after all. Not surprisingly most of those teams in the play-off positions are putting pressure on the National League. Seems like the vote is going to get delayed though.

So if they did get relegated Flybe would need to get successive promotions to achieve their 2022 football league objective.
