Partly yes, but if we are still struggling to get 300 once we go back home then what do we do? Alex spoke about the badge change and the colour change as being about attracting new fans, but turning against the press goes against that. If we want to progress as a club we aren't going to do that with just the same people that care at the moment.

Outlets were the Citizen,pink un and teletext.
How things have changed since then add to the fact
that since 2008 Gloucester has been the fastest growing City or town and has added 10000 more
To its numbers with most of those under 40,There’s
So much that has changed since the excile something tells me we will be more than alright.

We haven't played in Gloucester since 2007 though. That's a long time to be away and that is a long time for people to get out of the habit of going. So what that Gloucester has added 10000 more people doesn't mean they want to go and watch Non-League football when C********m and FGR are close by. It is going to be hard work attracting new fans and those that have barely been in the last 13 years. You would like to think we could get 4 figures for our first game back, but I do wonder what sort of crowds we will get on a regular basis. Only working with Seven Sport and doing updates that have in jokes for hardcore fans is going to do very little to change that.
If you buy more lottery tickets you have more chances of winning and with 10000 you will have a geat chance....Like Niel says public transport is a lot better and the ground is next 
to one of the key places of Gloucester.
In 2007 the ground was in the middle of an industrial estate used every 2 weeks but when 
When teams/events are held there on a weekly 
basis people will start to come back,and not to mention the community work that’s gone on in 
the last few years even though the club has been away.Prosum Semper
Can you at least see the potential there Darran?

We used to ride our bikes until we could drive,from Tuffley it was impossible,easier now though.

Of course there is potential, but you have to make people aware that the club is back. Just using Seven Sport and our own social media/website isn't going to do that. These people aren't just going to suddenly turn up because a football team has appeared on their doorstep.

Added to that, there are a lot of houses within a ten minute walk now.

I used to walk to Meadow Park from town and it was a grim walk past the Colin Campbell and through the industrial estates. Now you can walk through the Quays, over the High Orchard Bridge (wasn't even open when we last played in Gloucester!), and you're there. The town has moved closer to the Club in our absence.

Yes that was a grim walk when we came from town,also the only way from Bristol rd direction was the Naas lane bridge( one way) now 
we have lot quicker way to get there.
Its pure luck from all that has happened on the doorstep of the ground but we will definitely benefit from it as a football club.

You're about 3 miles away there, it was Hempsted bridge and the queue would often start at the post office on Hempsted Lane all the way down to that bridge
