Patrick Bamford:
“It’s amazing the amount of uproar that comes into the game when someone’s pocket is being hurt. It’s a shame it’s not like this with everything that’s going wrong in the game like racism.”

Players and fans showed these clubs it was not going to harm our game,The six club's were always going be the loser's if this went a head. Fan's would not stand for weakened team's on a Saturday or Tuesday ,with the strongest team saved  for the S.L game's. Never on and I think the club's will  still lose out with support from their actions in this.

RE: Super League - Prorsum Semper - 21-04-2021

The Gary Neville interview about this is well worth a watch, this super League has no interest in fans from it which the clubs country plays in, We have seen for years all these pre season tours of the US and Asia, that's the market they were interested in,I miss the days when premier League clubs would bring a team to MP for a pre season friendly,Even now club's have pulled out I think the damage has been done for them and serves them right.

He has got a point to be fair.  It's also slightly comical how FIFA and UEFA have tried to position themselves as protecting football, when much of the criticism labelled at the 'Big 6' pretty much applies to them.  We all know that what they are annoyed with is not that people tried to take more than their fair share, but that they weren't at the table when it was happening.

He nails the point perfectly. Fines issued for racist behaviour are lower than those issued for harming commercial interests. The corporate model that professional football follows favours the commercial interests of owners / shareholders
