End of season position's - Grey beard - 13-08-2021

Played two north and south tipster video's on you tube and one tipped Southport  top with City second?The second one tipped York top with City sixth ,more realistic in I, M, O, even top ten would. be a massive move forwards for this club

Top 10 would be good,play offs would be great but with football you never know...

I think playoffs are realistic. We will need to stay relatively injury free and perhaps get a couple more players in as well to have a chance at promotion.

Why can't we win it? Take each game as it comes. We're as good as anyone else I'm sure.

I would safely ignore the one tipping Southport for the title because they clearly haven't got a clue. Flyde or Boston for me and hopefully we can get into the play-offs, but I would be surprised if we were quite good enough to challenge for the title.

We need more depth up front. Having McClure is great and he will score us 20 goals I suspect, but other sides look to have more depth in that department as things stand. Fylde would have won the league last season in my view and they have a stronger side this time around. I think we have a solid side, but our start took us far last season and as much as it would be nice to think we will win our first 8 games again I can't see it happening.

If the bloke that tipped Southport and city for  first and second ,forgot to mention that the first game of the season is a six pointer then ???

Agree with Flyde, York, and Boston with us being some where near hopefully ?
Did not take him seriously in the first place ,he seemed a bit weird to me .

We played two up front against Hemel and didn't look as good as with just McClure on his own though.
