RE: Chorley - Darran - 05-09-2021

Interestingly the poll on the other thread has 12 people wanting him to stay, 17 to go and 11 on the fence

He's not getting sacked.

I guess that means a slim majority want him to stay, although that comes with a significant caveat of "for now" given the amount people on the fence. I suppose the other way to look at it is that more want him to go than categorically want him to stay.  Whether he stays or goes you'd have to hope there is a reaction next game.

I'm also not a big fan of hire and fire clubs, I think it says more about the ego of the Chairman than anything else. Sometimes things just need a little time to brew. We clearly need a signings in key areas, the injury room to empty, and the door shown to one or two players. See where we are then.

I'm probably in a minority with this view.

No you are not I entirely agree - and Neil’s post what would it achieve- having to start again- then we are half way thru the season. In PG and AP I trust to turn it around.

We said that with Todd and look where that got us. There is still plenty of time for someone new to build a good squad. We make the change nice and early then we can still be in the play-off picture.
