Off the field might've been a different matter but on the field was all that mattered.

At least he used the time off wisely to get some good players in. Don't forget we were just as bad as now under him to start with. I just don't understand what Groves has been doing since February when the season ended.

I though the York game was fairly even but we were scoring goals. We don't even seem to be making chances.
Have we had a shot on goal yet?

****, it's 6-0 now!

Give him time. The last thing we need is another change in manager. Every year we have a bad run - we saw in the first 2 games that we can play good football, so hopefully we'll see more of that.
(Still think it was a foolish decision to get rid of Mike Cook, but hey-ho...)

We haven't had a shot yet today.

York were missing players and they tried to play football against us, not get stuck into us. They rolled over.

This is more than a bad run. We looked relegation candidates last week and nothing has clearly changed this week. We were poor against Southport and lucky to get a point.

Seven now.

Seven nil at Chorley and still twenty minutes left. There can only be one outcome.

As I typed this it’s now 8-0.

Bye Paul

Professional footballers? They should all be ashamed of themselves.

RE: Chorley - Prorsum Semper - 04-09-2021

And I was thinking if we keep this under 8-0 we've done well? Whats our biggest ever defeat?
