AFC Fylde announce another new signing: experienced ex EFL (including C********m) left back Jordan Cranston. Seems unlikely they'll be signing free agent Alex Whittle as well.

I'd forgotten about Alex. I'd love to have him back.

Would definitely have Whittle back. Him and Leadbitter as wing backs would be superb.

Wouldn't you go Jack James, with Leadbitter as one of a back 3?  Whittle is obviously good enough, but would a return be welcome given the way he left?  Personally I'd be happy with it, football is a business at the end of the day, but I suspect some might not be enamoured with him returning.

I don't think there was anything undignified about the way he left. It wasn't as though he did a Carline.
