The Kiddy result stands out for me. 0-0 at home to Leamington. So many people wanking off over them saying they'll do this, they'll do that. I'm not convinced. They carry a great burden of expectation.

Yep we agree Neil- lost some of their better players- time will tell of course

Blyth have a new manager in Ex South Shields boss Graham Fenton

RE: NLN Watch - Eric Van Der Floof - 24-08-2022

Danny Rowe has returned to Flybe on loan from Chesterfield until January

RE: NLN Watch - Gladfans - 02-09-2022

I see Banbury Utd have sold Morgan Roberts to Swindon Town on deadline day. Scored lots for them.

Boston United have sacked manager Paul Cox, not a huge surprise given last year’s playoff finalists are currently bottom with 3 points from 7 games.

Replaced by Ian Culverhouse - who also replaced Cox when he left Kettering last season!

The managerial merry go round.

It is a surprise given he’s the one who has got them to the closest they have ever been to promotion. Lots of teams suffer from play off final defeat hangovers. He’s a very good manager and one Id be delighted if he became City manager.

LM was given the opportunity to manage us last season and kept us clear of relegation having to make do and mend with PG's squad. He's said himself he doesn't want to blow the opportunity and as a new manager it's a learning curve for him. As a club in a city of this size we should be pushing for promotion and LM knows it, but I'd rather give him a bit of leeway than take on Paul Cox or a.n.other manager at this stage. We're mid-table. Granted the last two home games were poor, but with our current walking wounded LM doesn't have a big squad to chose from. Hopefully he can make it up with decent loans. Let's not talk about another manager just yet.

His win record is shocking. Yes he kept us up, but our squad looks miles away from being play-off contenders. He had the summer to get his own squad and the players he got in haven't really improved the squad. Apparently he said we were due to get someone in on loan on Monday but that has been and gone with no announcement. If it wasn't for the fact he was from Gloucester then he wouldn't be getting anywhere near the leeway he is getting given his record.
