Yes, the club has issued a statement, but I doubt it will prevent further incidents. I was intending to go to Chester and the final if we'd made it, but reading the accounts of this and footage on a Twitter feed, just as well 500 City fans didn't travel there. Something needs to be done across the board involving all clubs to stamp this out at games. We've had low level incidents of this at home  - we have our own group of bumfluff bravos too. It'll deter families and people from coming.

Makes me proud at how we exited the play-offs with complete dignity on Wednesday, cheering our players and management to the rafters in appreciation of the best end to a season I can remember for some time.

As bad as it was I don't think the Brackley fans will be thinking that they had wished they had lost to us on Wednesday.

True. Would like to be in their position - and could so easily have been. Best of luck to them even if their sportsmanship was suspect when we played them. How they'd cope if they reach NL would be interesting.

Most would expect them to come straight back down (like Maidstone or Weymouth). If they can survive that first season I see them having a similar pedigree to Maidenhead or Wealdstone in that they’ll finish lower half but can play attractive football and scrape a few results.

Their average attendance is 676 against our 945. Are they in a stronger financial position than us? (ie owners) - SK has shown with his contacts that it's not necessarily geographical position, but having the contacts.
