Must just be the weeks you watch...

Maybe, most recently saw the Wycombe game where you had a penalty and another where the keeper blundered it.

Good point… time to get the thread back on topic.

whenever I see this video always reminds me of when the boxer Steve Collins claimed he was hypnotised prior to his match with Chris Eubank (he never was) and it had a huge psychological impact upon Eubank. Guessing we were ahead of the times in sporting mind games!

The rugby of the day was a much more 'level playing field' back then. GRFC still played all the top teams in England (& Wales), but also the likes of C********m, Stroud, Lydney etc. Support at Kingsholm was probably 3-4K, while City could draw up to 2k on a good day.
I followed both codes at the time, but much preferred City as I lived in Longlevens at the time. Watched City/City Reserves alternate weeks, occasionally went to Kingsholm if pocket money would stretch that far (unlikely!).

How much does it cost to get in at Kingsholm compared to the cost of MP? Is it £13 here?

It's £13 for standing at MP, yeah. Little more if you do seated but I always wondered how many pay the cheaper price then just go sit. It's not as if anyone is going to check.

Never been to Kingsholm as I don't do egg chasing but I'm told it's just usually just over £20 for adults and about £15 for "under 25s".

Much better value with us, especially for kids!

A fella at work has started coming to us because the rugby is getting too pricey. He’s enjoyed it so far.

RE: NLN Watch - Neil - 10-05-2023

thought it was more like £35 there?

RE: NLN Watch - Paul - 10-05-2023

Out of interest, what's the most expensive NLN admission? (he said trying to steer the thread back to NLN). A stadium like Fylde's or Boston's wouldn't have come cheap - is that reflected in the ticket cost?
