I watched the last 20 minutes or so and Chester did score, but it was ruled out. Both sides had chances to win it after that as well.

Looks like Blyth have beaten Rushall so it's ten points to safety with three games in hand over them.

Even if we win our three games in hand, we'd still be a point behind them. Their GD is also seven better than ours, so we need to outscore them by three goals per game.

Yes, scary really, Oxford City maybe not a surprise but Kiddie and Flybe occupying the bottom 2 spots shows the gulf...

Sadly it’s down to finance. These figures at totally unrealistic however:-
If it takes £500,000 to run a team at our level the so be it. Players on £400 a week coach travel £30k etc etc.
Books balanced with deep pockets and self generated revenue.
Get promoted- again figures hypothetical to run the team £950’000 the £400 a week players want £550 travel costs become £50k . Highly unlikely u can generate much more self generated income so how do you make up the shortfall.
The Kings Lynn chairman told me exactly the same when we last played them at home - they simply couldn’t afford it and they came down and are struggling again . Unless u have a sugar daddy ….
Is it best to be mid table and solvent ( I appreciate there are a few skeletons in our cupboards) or trying for something you cannot financially support.

Look at Maidenhead though, they're not a big club, they've survived well. Bromley too? Solihull? Flybe do have a sugar daddy. Is that really the answer?

It wasn't that long ago we were playing Fleetwood Town, now in League 1. Or Salford City, now of League 2 (granted they have a group of sugar daddies).

South Shields sack their manager because they dropped to 8th.

That seems like insanity to me.
