Frustrating that most of us didn't get to witness his strike parthership with McClure during null and void.

RE: NLN Watch - Darran - 09-01-2024

He came off early on in the 2nd half, but Darlington haven't improved at all. They look so bad up front.

Stortford did go in front, but they lost. Spennymoor came from behind to get a point along with Southport winning over Darlington.

all great results for us again, seems to happen every week. We have to stop looking that damn gift horse in the mouth. I've no idea what that means though.

I was one of the lucky few and to be honest it was all about McClure for me.

Still 7 points behind Banbury though - that's still a haul of points we have to get.

Would have been better if Darlo had drawn or won VS Southport, they have been able to pull away a bit now thanks to that win.

RE: NLN Watch - Darran - 10-01-2024

Could have done with Spennymoor losing as well. Yes handy that two teams below us gained no paints but if the teams above us keep doing so that won’t matter.

I’ve just seen on Twitter that apparently Asante is on 1.2k a week!

RE: NLN Watch - Neil - 10-01-2024

and Darlington have just been asking their fans to donate again. You'd want him running through brick walls for that kind of money.

RE: NLN Watch - Andrew R - 10-01-2024

Just seen an interesting comment on a forum from a Warrington fan suggesting that they, along with Rushall, might be automatically relegated from NLN because of their failure to make ground improvements (which would have been a condition of their respective promotions). That would mean that only two other teams would be relegated.

Does anyone have any further information on this?

Seems Asante was a last ditch effort for Gowling to save his job, fans cant be Happy being asked to pay out more after the amount they raises before.

I can sort of see why they would take a chance, don't forget there were some of our fans who wanted him back, but if he really is on that much money then I certainly would have said no thanks. It's mad they are asking for the fans to stump up so much money again given how much they put in over the summer.
