That's a real 'Blast from the past' with one of the most exciting players I've seen in City shirt (SJ if I'm not mistaken?)

Mick Shearer.

Didn't last very long, just like the others we sign from the A5 corridor (Gary Bradder, Paul Olner, Elliott Chamberlain, Jeff Blockley)

The South Shields supporters coach has been involved in an accident on the way back from Tamworth. Talk of casualties being airlifted to hospital Sad

RE: NLN Watch - gazza521 - 14-04-2024

Apparently the coach overturned on the A1 near Doncaster, multiple casualties.

I never put a seatbelt on when I’m in the back of a minibus.

There's an old road safety video of the back seat passenger not belting up and following an emergency stop the momentum takes him right through the back of the driver. Times that by 16 passengers. But then, try telling everyone on a supporters minibus to buckle up!

Best wishes to all involved. I remember they travelled to us in good numbers were well behaved and seemed like a decent crowd.

Agreed old fashioned football supporters- thoughts with the injured and the club.
