We have difficulty enough imagining the First Round.

With all the talk that our new manager is in favour of hoofball he hasn't signed any hoofball players , only Spencer Hamilton.Harry, joe Parker Hanksy. and Mc Gary who aren't big players all prefer to have the ball played to their feet . Perhaps he has done deals with last seasons defenders who were big hoofballers.

That's why I think he's had little say in signing them. I still can't see us passing the ball around.

From the new owners perspective the signing of former local players who are keen to get on board must seem like an easy win as we need players and ' most' fans seem positive about it.
We give these lads a chance and go from there. My concern would be the length of contracts offered. I'd be unhappy for us to get lumbered with a number of players the new manager doesn't rate. Let's hope conversations are going on behind the scenes about the names signing up.

Apart from Spencer who is on a two year deal I don’t think anyone else’s details re contract length have been mentioned including the manager

With all these re - signs I guess there might be a bit of trepidation.
All served us well previously some better than others perhaps.Going full time pushed them out of the door basically and never played a ‘home match’. I would have a fair few from last seasons batch namely Ben Morgan Kieran Phillips. Owen Evans, perhaps Ben Nugent .Full timers didn’t get us promoted so I think we owe it to the new regime to at least start the season, gauge performances and then see.

I notice that the 6 signings so far are heavily weighted towards the midfield and forward positions. Wonder if that’s an indication that the club is more optimistic about retaining some of our defence from last season?
