Exactly, and someone who has done it before, so knows what’s involved, having worked ridiculous unpaid hours for the love of the club. Someone who last season was regularly underwriting the cost of the supporters coaches out of his own pockets. Someone who I imagine will have agreed very favourable terms for the club, because he loves City. Not someone who is just out to make money for himself. But, if he does make some decent money out of it then it’ll be through his own blood, sweat, and tears. I could go on Darran, but I won’t, because you can’t compete with that sort of commitment and effort. Stick to your snide insinuations from the comfort of your home/keyboard, trying to drag down good people who are doing the best they can to make the club successful.

Im not trying to drag anyone down but I struggle to believe that he’s doing it just for the love of city given he had a pretty large gap from when he didn’t even support the club. Where was he when we were homeless for so long and needed help? Why did he try and set up another another supporters group which has just divided the fan base even more when he could have just helped the supporters trust out. That group were also instrumental in seeing Patrick lose his position and Alex coming back and that also led to Dave running the bar. No one asked him to run the coaches last season and run them at a loss so that’s on him. My main point is I feel it’s important people know the money spent in the bar doesn’t go to the club as the club have already been paid by Dave and people were thinking we were going to benefit from these extra games.

I’ve been supporting this club long enough and have different priorities in life to be traipsing up and down the country anymore or helping the club out on a significant basis but we are all city fans at the end of the day whatever we do or however often we go. It’s a shame that Alex has caused this division because it never used to be the case.

Wow, I genuinely don’t even know where to begin with you. Have you ever actually had a conversation with Dave himself to raise these questions or concerns? Or just sat behind your keyboard watching Wyscout veocam highlights and arguing with strangers online?

Your constant slanderous comments are getting boring.

Not sure where this slanderous tag starting coming from after it was first used on Twitter earlier but it’s rather bizarre. I am giving my view on the situation based on what I know. Nothing I have said is slanderous or libellous as was also being touted earlier.

Dave was the one who explained what was happening regarding the bar to me.

I keep getting told that my facts are wrong and the things I say are wrong yet at no point has anyone put what are the actual facts are if what I’m saying is incorrect. I don’t agree with the club giving the bar to Dave as for me we would have made more money from the way Patrick was doing it. People see it differently that is up to them. I asked Liam to tell me what the facts were earlier and he just blocked me instead. Just makes me think there is no substance behind the bluster.

‘Slanderous - (of a spoken statement) false and malicious’

All you seem to do is slam Dave and make him appear to be some kind of wheeling and dealing salesman intent on stealing money from the club. Your claims are unsubstantiated and clearly intent on causing harm to his reputation, not sure what else you want?

Just because it ‘doesn’t sit right with you’ doesn’t mean there’s some kind of underhand dodgy dealing going on. I imagine the lease works like almost any other bar lease, with Dave paying a substantial monthly sum to lease the premises.

Stick to your dodgy betting tips instead of throwing accusations out about the ‘club giving the bar to Dave’.

I wouldnt assume that Patrick and Nicky were not taking a similar deal on the food side of things.  How do you know?  You simply dont!  I have heard rumours but dont know for sure.  Although the amount of effort Nicky put in might go some way to a possible explanation.

10 games to go.  Can we win 6 to get to 50 points. Defo outsiders now.  If you are there Saturday Darren ill happily buy you a pint, line daves pockets again (and the clubs too as he continues to support his way) and happily talk about Chelenham tips with you for the Thursday!!!   You never know a good C********m week and we could buy out AP!!!!!

1) you obviously don’t know Dave
2) maybe you have trust issues?
3) you would do it yourself so can’t imagine why someone else would?

Do you know everyone that’s at every game? Some people don’t feel the need to be in the limelight all the time. When not there…maybe learning his trade, which means he’s now experienced enough to manage such a venture?

He didn’t try to set up a club, he has set up a club. Pretty sure that was all cleared up in the past. It was never to create division, it has different objectives to the ST that don’t cause a conflict. It’s focused on the matchday experience, which hasn’t been easy this season. The flags and banners are fantastic. Dave gets on well with the ST Chair I believe.  You’re one of the ones who keeps creating division.

Firstly, regardless of the ins and outs of Dave H's deal, we know as a matter of fact that Chambers situation was very different, so there's no point going down that rabbit hole.

Secondly, don't forget Tuesday's home game!

And lastly, if anyone can point to any post on here which is slanderous... I'll buy them some of Mike's chips & goujons!

No they didn’t, but you were suggesting he’s in this for himself and there was one example to show he’s not. But of course that doesn’t fit your narrative so you dismiss it with your usual charitable comments. Do you use that same response to your disgruntled punters?
