Really enjoyed the latest installment of the podcast. About the right time, some great topics were covered and a good insight into parts of the club I didn't know much about like the U21s.
Interesting comments on the corporate hospitality. To me this is something that the club can't afford to get wrong if they're going to get repeat customers who then go on to become sponsors. it has to be an enjoyable day out (let's leave the football to one side) from the moment the guests are greeted at the ground to the way they're looked after throughout the whole match day. I know this takes resources that the club doesn't have - you only have to see AP pulling pints in the bar to know that - but it does sound like there are some quick wins (bottle openers!) that won't cost the earth.
Regarding season tickets next season, I think we could well get some newer fans who didn't commit this season taking the plunge next season. Despite the results the match day experience as a whole is decent - good food, decent beer and the atmosphere has come on leaps and bounds now that everyone has got a bit more comfortable in the ground and familiar with the chants. Attendances this season have been really encouraging and if we strung a few results together and started challenging towards the top, we could see some really decent crowds regularly.
