it's all relative though isn't it. I think its fair too say that we have significantly more resources the last three years than ever before. So all things being equal we should be looking up not down. But there are some big teams in this league, and I'd have thought the more pertinent question is where are resources rank in comparison to the rest of the league, rather than our own budget in previous years.
I know last year we were said to have a playoff budget, so we demonstrably underperformed. Its also been mentioned in the past that the budget this year is less - is that actually true. Any idea where our budget ranks this year?
It feels to me like we have a much better balanced squad this year, but are maybe lacking a little quality at times.
There are also a few players where the jury is probably out. The two games I saw I was impressed by Mitford, but it sounds like he has been pretty poor in the away games, so time will tell which is Mitford we will see more often this year.
