James Rowe…. Article in the Daily Mail
#1

I’ve always felt a bit uncomfortable about the “James Rowe She Said No” chants. Whilst, I disagreed with the way he acted when he left the club and tapping up our players (whether he signed them or not), always felt it’s a bit harsh when there could of been multiply reasons he was let go by Chesterfield. So low and behold, just before bed my WhatsApp goes off with a link to a Daily Mail article.

It’s very damaging article which I’m sure wouldn’t of been published with some level of evidence. Flyde not contacting Chesterfield before hiring James Rowe is really bad. But for the FA to basically ignore what happened because the lady he exposed himself to was over the age of 18 is shocking!

Another one for the scrap book.

Shocking really. Shame on Fylde.

Agreed. They can smell blood and once the FA take their head out of the sand the pressure on Fylde will be too great. He’ll have to go.

I think the first article could have just about been survived, given most of that information was essentially in the public domain anyway.  The second one which suggests they've made no efforts to safeguard their staff, when there are very public allegations about him and his behaviour will surely see an extreme amount of pressure applied on both Mr Rowe and the football club (and quite rightfully so).

Be interesting to see if the FA have learnt anything from the Mark Sampson process, abuse of position etc…
Have to feel for the (alleged) victims - including his partner.

Why isn't this classed as harrasment?

Good point, I'm sure some of James Rowe's actions at Chesterfield and other clubs definitely constitute harassment.

No given what he's done. He needs to be exposed.
