Lost 0-3 then. We didn't have a single shot on goal.

Are we the most inconsistent, Jekyll & Hyde team in the league?

Lose Tuesday and get knocked out by Merthyr and I think Manse might find a P45 on his desk

Sorry if I'm beginning to sound like a broken record but managers throughout the ages have said that talented young lads are inconsistent. We're predominantly a team made up of the above. What struck me away at Hungerford was how vocal they were compared to us. There's the odd word but I think we'd get away playing in a library. Currently there's no leaders on display on the pitch. The current older heads O'Sullivan and Leadbitter just don't seem to be the types of players to martial a young squad. Untill that changes it's going to be a lottery every time we play. Let's hope our numbers come up on Tuesday.

I'd love a team of experienced players but our experienced players all seem to be injured.

Tommy's a great player but no leader. You could clearly see that when he was playing in the Covid League winning team alongside Daly, Gunning, and Dawson.

A silly question for those who went - would having Nugent et al playing today made a difference?
