Thank you

During this seasons NLN campaign there have been many folk who have stepped up to the plate and given their time, expertise, experience and enthusiasm to keep the show on the road and allow and help us all enjoy our match days.  There have been times this season, where this must have been particularly difficult.

So, the purpose of my post here is to say 'thank you' to them all, particularly the volunteers, for all you have done that has contributed much to the memorable 22/23 campaign.

There is always a risk in naming names that you end up forgetting somebody by mistake.  There are folk that come rain or shine are out working on match days, often in difficult conditions.  You'll know who they are.  The one thing that always shines through to me is no matter what the circumstances, their enthusiasm and positivity.  Every one of them a star in my book.  From sorting coaches, stewarding, raising those much needed funds, booking coach travel and more besides - thank you.

Also a big shout out to Eamon and Alex, some people may not agree with everything they do but without Eamon we would have not football club and without AP we would not be back in Gloucester and without the both of them and their contacts we would not have nights like last night

I concur. Good to see them all there last night. Rod Jenner was there too.

No surprise to see Alex turn when there was the possibility of success despite all that he has put us through this season.

Tad dramatic?  Lets not forget that he could probably cripple the club in a heartbeat given the debt currently owed to him if he so wished.  There are things we would all want to have gone differently this year, but the harsh reality is he could, if he wanted, have made things so much worse, and none of us would even have a club to support.

On another point, and I guess not completely unconnected to the above, I'd echo the thanks to all the volunteers etc, it has been a tumultuous season so it can't have been easy for a lot of people.
