New Manager....

OK, someone had to start it!
SK will be a hard act to follow but follow we must and as they say life goes on or in this case Gloucester City and its never ending saga!
I will start with a name that was mentioned in previous years David Oldfield, probably knows Patrick, had a disaster move to Weymouth, did well at Oxford City and as far as I know out of work. My guess is it will be someone with more local knowledge but its a thread starter. Smile

His name sprung to my mind. Sounds like things were pretty sour at Weymouth from what I have heard, but he did very well at Oxford.

I thought you were going to say Mansell.

Hope we get a Young coach Who has been around a few clubs looking for their first job as head coach.

I'm sure Jon Palmer will let us know who it is before we know Wink

Matt Barnes Homer - He’ll be reasonably cheap, already knows the club and might just well be looking to start his managerial journey.

Maybe a slightly controversial name and probably unrealistic….Gavin Gunning.
Seems to be building a good reputation as a coach at Swindon and has been caretaker manager for a few games this season (along with Steve Mildenhall). He might fancy an opportunity to be a manager for the first time.

If as it would appear we need a new man at the helm then for once we need to get it right first time under the Chambers stewardship.Names as above mentioned I could live with , I’m sure many experienced and up and coming managers would like a stab at the job.
Never dull is it

Very left field and possibly unrealistic but Adam Lakeland at Curzon Ashton? Worked wonders for them on a somewhat small budget with low crowds. Worth a shout?
