However thought the lads put up a great fight, credit to each and every one of them for a massive shift in front a massive crowd, thought they did themselves proud today.

Also, as much as refs get a huge amount of stick for poor performances, personally thought she had a great game today, as well as the two assistants - thought they let the game flow and was nice not to have them blowing for a free kick every 2 minutes.

Feels like performance wise we might be turning a corner? Just typical it happens now with a tough looking run of fixtures ahead - a Wembley trophy run would be nice to take our minds off it though!

The commentators were being very complimentary about the officials, just a Scunthorpe fan walked past them and said she was the worst ref he’d ever seen.

Can’t please them all I suppose!

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Sadly we have a team within the allowed budget.
Hence we have at best a Southern Premier if not one below team.
Sadly our 15 year tenure in the National League is coming to an end.
Pessimism maybe, realism very much so

Barring a miracle that's where we're heading.
If we do go down, and I'm still hoping for a miracle, I'm hoping for South. Will be able to watch us at my local team, Hanwell Town, who I watch on a regular basis.

The starting presumption is that the 4 NLN relegated clubs replace the two promoted from each of the Northern PL and the SLP Central. And the 4 from the NLS go to the SLP South and Isthmian. Of course there are always anomalies ...

It's going to be interesting if us and Stortford are relegated!

It really makes me unhappy a bunch of us have accepted relegation and we aren't even half way through November yet. There is still a lot of football left, Prorsum Semper, my friends.

Stortford came up from the Isthmian so I would imagine that is where they would go back to.

At least the chairman has an excuse every week. Todays excuse he has put on twitter “Full time with the largest budget in the league. Four x our budget and I suspect they will arrive at the Tiger Turf as champions for the last game of the season if they can maintain the spend.”

it’s getting quite boring hearing his excuses every week.

But, those are accurate statements, aren't they. They have spent a ton of dough.
