Darran who are the people that want Alex back ?
Haven't seen much support for him to come back on the forum . Infact there is better support on here for the Chambers even though they haven't got  Alex's  money clout . I just don't think that Gloucester City football club have ever had a thought out plan to get this club success since I started watching them since 1966 .
To me it's seems that nothing has changed in the 57years I have followed the city or the times I could only follow results
from a far.All I would ask Patrick & Nicki is to formulate a plan to get this football club on the right track whether it takes 2 years or 5 or 6years but please think hard about this and once decided stick to it whatever . Let's start making our club successful and not a laughing stock .

The people that wanted AP gone and now want him back are generally on Twitter, not the forum.

Also, we've already mentioned a few times that the Chambers have been very clear that they have a long term plan for the club.

Maybe I've missed the long term plan ? So what does this plan entail, could someone enlighten me or show me where I can read or watch this please ???

However, things like big stadium improvements can't happen without the agreement of the landlords (AP & EMG), so I assume this stuff will happen after Chambers buy the freehold, assuming they do.

Some of the positive things that have taken place:
• There's been some Gloucester City shop space in Eastgate Shopping Centre, run by volunteers from the Gloucester City Supporters Trust and in conjunction with the community group FF6.
• We've had mascots at every game, which has been massively popular with local football teams. The kids & their parents come along, spend money on drinks and burgers, and hopefully come back again.
• This season we have a Development Team in the Hellenic League system and a Reserve Team in the Herefordshire County League. A lot of these players are students I believe, and they've been coming along to a lot of our Senior Mens and Women's game too - more people spending money at the ground.
• We've got a volunteer media team of students who've been producing a lot of content for the club, giving us a lot more insight into the club than we've had in past years.
Some good points but the media side can often be quite hit and miss. Home matches not being advertised until the Tuesday before the game and only having a couple of social media posts before, the preview and podcast started off great but they don’t seem to happen anymore. The students though have been great on match days getting the match day content to the level it needs to be for NLN, would be nice to see more behind the scenes throughout the week though imo.
The shop was a great idea and hopefully happens more often, unfortunately no one actually knew it was taking place though so would be good to advertise this in future.
The mascots have been around for a few years now and Claire has been doing a brilliant job with them, pretty much an unsung hero with the brilliant work coming out there!

Yes, the mascots have been around for a few years but it's really taken off this season.

As for the media, it's a volunteer team and the students often have other uni commitments and I don't believe any of them are from Gloucestershire either so we do rely on it being term time. They do a great job when we do have them available, and they've certainly been putting in the miles to cover us on away games for those of us who can't travel.

Historically we've got lucky in the past by having someone who's local, enthusiastic, young, and most importantly knows that they're doing - the likes of Simon Clark spring to mind - who runs things.

Agree with all of this. Kelsey then managed to take things to a new level.
Tbf it helps that the students are allowed to travel on the team coach, I used to have to pay on the fans coach when I was involved and there wasn’t a youth price then either. But long may the link with the Uni continue, and Claire’s hard work.
