Great to see we are sponsoring the naming rights,I remember the T-End being sponsored by either Blackthorn Cider or Carlsberg years ago but I could be wrong.

wasn’t it called the Astec stand after Keith Gardiner persuaded a local business man to pay for a roof to be put on it. I believe he was into mobile phones in their early days.( was it ever paid? Well that’s another story)

That’s it,I thought that was paid for by the fans as I remember there being a board of how much had been raised to get the roof put on it, wasn’t it ever called after a brand of alcohol then?

I spent my school holiday painting a lot of the T-End yellow and then a band of us did the same with the chicken run....a week before the floods!
