I’ve said for months that us having no season was a real possibility and I think it’s odds on now that we won’t have a 20/21 season sadly.

My question would be, what happens to players contracts etc, would they be frozen for a year? A club can’t be expected to pay out wages with no income whatsoever.

At its worst, potentially, teams will go bust and players won't be paid.

What about season tickets?

Cricket has done a season with no fans, all be it much shorter than normal. Excellent coverage, you tube etc.

Clubs who have payed very high wages to attract players will feel the pinch. Know any of those?

Depends what the contracts are I guess but given we gave pro players in the team now football is their only income.

I’ve been told that a team from the nls sent an email to clubs this morning saying they should start the season without fans and that streaming was going to make up for it. That didn’t go down well with the others including Alex

Darran is it now confirmed that crowd's are now not allowed back on oct3rd?Have not seen news to day,so is this the end of the season?

Just seen the prime minister state that crowds at football games are not allowed until march2021?That's that for football at our level for this season.

You think it would have been different with another political party? I would say COVID was to blame,Easy to criticize but when your the one making literally life or death decisions I doubt it’s something taken lightly.
I believe fans should be allowed into grounds with reduced aforo masks and SD.
