£11m from the Goverment

I read somewhere else that if the season ends and all contracted players are put on furlough then the difference in cost between that and paying the grant won't be much different. That is unless the furlough scheme isn't available to us this time.

I have seen the Concord chairman tonight say that he would back a protest on Saturday if it was decided teams shouldn't play their games. This could get pretty embarrassing for the National League if something doesn't change. I think this is really serious though and if we clubs don't get grants rather than loans I do think the season will end. If that happens I think the season will be voided sadly given how far into the season we are. We have to hope this can be sorted and what has gone before isn't a waste of time.

Get a script and start filming ASP in time for next seasons start?Could keep the player's busy for a couple of month's, because it doesn't look good for the remains of the season.

I reckon the twitter bloggers etc have lost any moles and leaks they might have had ... as they are a day behind currently news wise that clubs have ... treat a lot of what comes out with caution ...

Remember ... clubs voted for elite status as last season it suited them ... now we have it some want to change ... grants was offered after the elite status was confirmed ...The sole issue is what happened at the start of the season ... N&V for me is not an option.

Hopefully the grant situation can be sorted otherwise I can’t see any other option but null and void as frustrating as that is for everyone. We haven’t played enough games yet as we are nowhere near 75% and let’s face it I can’t see other clubs voting for ppg at this stage about from us, Torquay and I’m guessing St Albans might be top on ppg in the south. We are lucky that we have someone who is prepared to put money into the club, but others don’t have that option. My hope is that the clubs threatening to refuse to play will make the National League sort something out because it will be embarrassing for them if null and void happens. I guess there is one other option is that we stop now and we continue the season in August once you would hope crowds are allowed back.

Null and void as opposed to what? Conclusion with PPG or carry on regardless? I wouldn't be happy with null and void sitting top with the best PPG but we've played less than half of the season so it'll never stand, surely?

Exactly the table as it is can’t be a final one given how few games teams have played. Can hardly see Fylde or York going for ppg

We just don't yet know anything yet ... there's a lot of noise about ... so we just need to listen to what's actually being said or not being said ...

Here's a copy and paste of my email yesterday to all the Chairman ... the subject/ question was 'do we have a meeting as chairman before the NL meeting today' ... my response was simple:

"having a meeting to discuss a subject with zero details or information ... is as pointless as watching my 6 year old home school an art lesions on zoom"

We must deal in facts ... forever forward!
