Flowers was the 1st name that sprung to my mind and it would be a good fit. Did a superb job at Solihull and I thought he was harshly sacked. He certainly did better their than he did at Stafford in his 1st managerial job. Cole could be an option if he wants it and does a good job as caretaker. Wonder if Gary Waddock could be persuaded. Would be a similar signing to when Torquay got Gary Johnson in. Jerry Gill has done well at Bath and hard to know why they are doing so badly at the moment. Just highlights how strange football is though because if we needed a new manager before the season started Gill would be high up on the shortlist.

Weren't we linked with Kevin Nicholson at one time? Maybe around the time we opted for Chris Todd?
I don't know too much about him but he has a long list of coaching qualifications.
Previously coached at a few league clubs and managed Bangor - although I can't see too much information on how he did. He recently tweeted that he wants to get back into coaching.

I've seen a number of names chucked around today.
Kevin Nicholson
Adie Mings
Liam Rosenior
Mark Yates
Jake Cole
Marc Richards
Steve Cotterill
Lee Mansell
Craig Gardner
This just shows what an attractive club we are and there's a huge breadth of managers who could get the job. We don't need to get the cheapest option anymore, and hopefully we'll find someone who wants to be here for the club and not themselves.

I don't get the Steve Cotterill thing at all. Been over 20 years since he got C********m out of Non-League and he doesn't seem to have done an awful lot in recent years. Be better off trying to get the Cowley brothers over someone like him now that would be a real coup.

The managerial merry go round strikes again, about as wobbly as a jelly in an earthquake!
