Curzon Ashton away

We needed some good saves from Lovett in the 1st half, but once we got the goal in the 2nd half we were pretty comfortable in the end. A great pass and a great finish for the goal as well. We have gained points on all our rivals apart from Kiddie so it has been a very good day on that front. Hopefully we can win a couple of FA Trophy games this week before we host Leamington.

A win and a clean sheet away from home against a team that are capable of beating any team in this league on their day.

Today’s result feels like the last few weeks can now be put behind us and we can look forward to the rest of the season.

Decent result that. Great start to Groves' new reign. Look forward to giving him and all the lads a warm welcome on Tuesday...

Yeah he’s kept all three of our clean sheets. Nuff said.

Totally agree. The defence looked more assured today with him between the sticks.
