GCAFC TV Stream vs Needham Market

A stupid question perhaps Matt but should not some part of income for streaming be invested in upgrade?

It was good to see instant replays added too, and of course cost is the key force in the quality of service.

Keep up the good work.

Two things

Is there going to be a move to stream from the West side above the half way line. Last night the camera didn’t seem to want to pan into the right corner when play went in there.

The start and certainly the end is very abrupt. No pre match chat or post match wind down. You are still talking when it goes off.  Just my observation

The end may have been accidentally cut by Matt as there is a time delay between what we film and the broadcast. Matt you naughty boy!

As for pre match chat, we've thought about it, but what will I talk about? I don't really think people are generally fussed about hearing me gabble on for 10 minutes before the players come out. I might be wrong.

Yes but it’s not as simple as running a very long Ethernet cable, to get decent broadband on that side would be very costly and the streaming income is primarily making up for the lack of fans/away fans, we are working on it though.

I waited until the stream caught up? Not sure why it cut off, anyone else have that happen?

I've not watched our stream yet but the Guiseley one had a bit of an introduction and that worked out well. You have a guest commentator you can chat with them, that would be decent.

Yeah, a bit of preamble would be good you just need to plan what you want to say. Maybe a bit of history, player details and current form of the opposition. Team news for us. Some general miscellany.

Nothing that requires lots of research, would definitely enhance an already excellent production and give us all chance to hear more of your velvet tones.

I wonder if going on about 15 minutes before kick off with the team news and then chat with the guest for a little bit. Not necessarily all the way until kick off but would add a bit to the coverage.

Get Neil in to interview the guest commentator for 10 minutes whilst you get set up Lee.
