This is scandalous and irresponsible behaviour from the FA. You have a player that played Tuesday night and would have been with his team mates till at least 22.00 on the 15th. The players who came in contact with him, surely the whole squad he shared a changing room and pitch with should be self isolating till 22.00 on 25th December. This is clearly stated on the NHS and .GOV websites.
I know Alex would have put the clubs case across very strongly. As a club we have had to get to grips and abide by rules with COVID from a training point of view and also the stadium. This is putting the players and their families at risk. If we have a positive case, surely the club could sue the FA.
I guess I could be totally wrong and they could be putting a reserve and junior team out who haven't been in contact with the player!! I doubt it!!
Rant over!!
