So very sad to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are very much with all the family and his many friends.  Back in the day Fred was a key and popular member of the match day team and I very much valued his help and friendship and those conversations about how games were unfolding. God bless. David

Fred’s funeral service will take place next Friday (23rd) at Gloucester Crematorium in Coney Hill at 3pm.

Sadly, due to COVID restrictions there is a limit of 30 people that are allowed to attend and the service will by be invitation only. However if anyone would like to pay their respects to Fred, you are still able to attend and stand outside at the crematorium as we arrive, social distancing in groups of up to 6 people

On behalf of the family, thank you to everyone who has passed on their thoughts and best wishes.

On behalf of the family, thank you to the supporters and friends that were at the crematorium on Friday afternoon to pay their respects to Fred. The family also had some lovely messages for those that were unable to attend.

Also thank you to those that joined us at Meadow Park for a few drinks and sharing memories of Fred and his life. Special mention to Claire Lane and Bernard Mensah for manning the bar.

Another special mention goes to Easty for arranging the flag which will hand in the T-End as a permanent reminder of Fred.
