I see Jim Hart has left the club and the Tyrone Ming's academy has come in, sounds good but is this a private academy which will be separated from the club?Do we have the right to any players that come through it?

It said on the Tyrone Mings website that players attending do not have to attach to City or the academy in any way, I guess that it will be an opportunity to cherry pick talent for the youth set up and has to be more cist effective.
I guess for a full explanation of how things will work it will be explained by AP in good time.

You'll see some news on this ... which will very much excite you please you all I hope over the next couple of weeks or so ...

But the TMA (Tyrone Mings Academy) is only aimed at what I call soccer school ... so primary school age, so 6,7,8,9 and 10's, Our academy will start from U12' to U16's. U18, U21 and U23's will now come under the main football management i.e. under Paul Groves. Each age group from 12's to 23's will have a manager of course, but 12-16's will report into the leadership board ... which we will announce soon. With the 18's-23's directly feeding into and under Paul Groves.

The world and football keeps evolving, so we need to evolve and change with it ... Watch this space ... I hope you'll be impressed.

Same with the Women's team, the old 'Ladies team' wanted to be grass roots and do what they do ... I/ we want our team to move up the leagues and be full time professional. So things have changed ... We need to be the best we can be as a club! We need to try and win things not only in the mens first team, but throughout the whole club, from U12's to Women's and Men's.

Ever Forward!

Evolution not revolution, exciting times, the club as a whole growing exponentially. Good job AP & everyone involved.

AP I like it!
Winning has a certain mentality as does losing.
I am sure winning will spread through the club as said ever forward...

Thanks for the info Alex,Some of the opportunities being created by yourself and Eamon for young kids/adults is great to see, definitely giving the club a community feel about it.
