Martin Messenger was the messenger! Smile

According to him it was like the "Grand old Duke of York", once we were up then down again!

Sorry, going slightly off topic. I began supporting City in 1994. I know about the heartache of Bromsgrove.
I think my 'Bromsgrove' moment watching City was 1997 Vs Salisbury City at Meadow Park. I can remember the moment of us going 1-0 up and C********m Town drawing away at Burton Albion. The 2nd half saw City begin to unravel as the season seemed to be 45 mins too long. Feeling was disappointment at the end. Having got to the FA Trophy Semi Final as well, we ended up with nothing. Later that evening, went to the Cinema to try and take my mind off things.

I was also in Tenerife for the Bishop Auckland away match, no guesses who filled me in on the scoreline!

To be honest, not sure what the Film was now. Went to the Cinema at the Peal Centre. Been looking on Google at Films that came out in the Cinema in 1997. Would be quite fitting if it was one of these:-
TITANIC,. THE GAME,. MEN IN BLACK (Referee and Linesman),. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL (CTFC after game against Burton Albion),  AS GOOD AS IT GETS,. CONTACT (Chris Burns against opponent),. SCREAM 2,. GOOD BURGER (Half Time Food),. Open your Eyes (Referee),. HAPPY TOGETHER (Steve Cotterill and CTFC Team),. BREAKDOWN (GCAFC 2nd Half),. NOTHING TO LOSE (GCAFC in search of goals),. BLISS (CTFC at end of game).

Remember it well. Another case of so nearly. Went to The Regal after the game and Leroy turned up. What a gentleman.
