I guess it must be Mike Cook’s fault?

I'm surprised he didn't blame John Sheridan to be honest as he blamed everything else but himself for making mistake after mistake in the 2nd half. I mean who keeps a goalkeeper on the pitch who can't walk. As much as County didn't put him under enough pressure it was always likely to cause a goal at some point and it did in glorious style in the 89th minute. His BT interview was so funny.

Rowe as we saw takes risks, he had a budget and spent it on a narrow group of players at City and when injuries or suspensions came was starting to look short just before he left for Cheatersfield. As said at this level not selecting a substitute keeper is an amature cock up and it bit him in the arse!
He took a gamble again and lost, he is clearly a good coach, but naive at best and certainly a chancer.
Rowe will have high expectations next season and that's not an easy league ever to get out of even when money is thrown at a team,FGR for example....

Typical JR interview...Next year will be a lot more of a level playing field as I guess he won't be able to furlough players he doesn't want, the team he inherited were one of the highest scoring teams and he has been heavily backed in the transfer market,so there's still questions to be asked of him as a coach, ironically he signed about 3 or 4 keepers and put some on furlough so he must be gutted/annoyed that that was there downfall.

I think this highlights the difference between being a coach and being a manager. It’s all very well running ‘good sessions’ (because it’s not enough for players to train hard just because they’re being paid to play football, they have to be pandered to) but his lack of managerial experience has been exposed yesterday.

“There’s a mole. Right at the top of the circus. He’s been there for years.”

The summer will be very interesting for them as he has a huge squad now which he will need to try and make smaller before he adds to it. I also think next season's league could be the most competitive it has ever been. At least one of Stockport and Notts County will be in the league, Wrexham will have a huge budget and that's not even mentioning the likes of Dagenham and Grimsby. Also Chesterfield had a very kind fixture list towards the end of the season playing teams who had furloughed players as they were down at the bottom and even then they couldn't beat Wealdstone.
