I'm gutted to be missing the game tomorrow but family holiday in Cornwall had to take precedence this time unfortunately. Will be there for the hemel game and so on.. hope we do see a big crowd but as been said before shouldn't be too down on the attendance tomorrow as the real barometer will be the york game, plus will probably only be a cov under 23 team.

Would it make any difference if it was a Coventry first team? Do people come to watch the opposition? Ooh look, it's Brian Kilcline!

Unfortunately the casual fan does. Doesnt make a difference to the regular fan if it is the first team or under 23s.

Of course they do, Newcastle, Villa, Everton…look at our history of pre-season.

Not sure in the case of where Coventry are now that if they were bringing the first team it would have added much to the gate. I can remember playing them in the 90s and they had a pretty strong team out, but that must have been in their Premier League days.

Yes, we played Coventry City at Meadow Park in 1998. We drew the Match 3-3. It was a strong Sky Blues team, think that Darren Huckerby scored. Coventry were a good Premier League team then. Had the likes of Dion Dublin up front as well.
Earlier that year, I went to Highfield Road to watch my other team Arsenal play there. Gordon Strachan was the Manager. Can remember being outside the ground before the game, Kellogg's had people giving away New Kellogg's Marshmallow bars. I had a few of these from different people handing them out.

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
 Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.
