Food kiosks

Just had a chat with Steve Harvey, not in any official capacity, but he called me as a friend as he’s understandably concerned.

The upshot was…

Chips will no longer be served in cones but trays so the portion size will increase. They’ll ensure they’re cooked long enough too.

Fried onions will be available for burgers and hotdogs.

He said he will be there and more than happy to discuss any issues fans have with quality, pricing, or even menu suggestions. It’s a learning curve, and he fully appreciates this.

He was quite upset at the suggestion of profiteering,  and wants to stress the greater the profit, the more that will be invested back in the Club.

He’s a nice chap, just talk to him.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

That’s all.

Gravy, northern folk love graaaavy, so do some of us southern softies.
On a serious note it's good that Steve wants to improve the service offered and my comment about profit was most certainly not aimed at him but was a general statement. I look forward to sampling the food at the first home game.

Faggots, chips (cooked), mushy peas, gravy. Nothing else. Bovril served November to February.

I didn't sample the food on Saturday but surely fan-feedback should not be required to cook a chip correctly?

Dave ,having sort of started  the  new food discussion off , I would like to point out I do not want to upset any one .
I only pointed out my honest opinion that of the product and price ?
I know it's a leaning curve for Harvey's as well as fans ,and that any problems hopefully can be sorted out , I am also aware that its a business and people have to be paid but still Price's will put some people off ?In no way do I think that the firm is making excessive profit from the fan's ,but prices  in my opinion were disappointing for the food that I had .

Then tell Steve on Saturday. He’s keen to engage!

Steve is a lovely chap as Dave says. He’s also paid out a fortune to kit out the containers etc so needs to recoup that.

In case anyone doesn’t know who he is at the ground, his photo is at the top of his Twitter page.
