City Twitter says it was Young too.

Sounds like Southport are on top and they've equalised - ?by route one

Finished 2-2. I'll take that as long as we beat York (who lost at home to Kiddie today) next week at NMP.

As said we have to take that, off the mark away from home. Plus we should have Evans in mid field plus hopefully a CF to play along side MM...

Yeah I’ll take that. Onwards.

Sounds like it was all Southport second half although that was how it read from their Twitter feed. Would be interested to get a balanced view!!! from a City fan who was at the game

York lost today as did Boston, Chorley and Hereford so not a bad day really.

Away point with TommyO, JJ, and Bernard to return, and The Welsh Wizard and a class CF to come.

Take that all day long.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Only one team in it second half but Cole played well, his experience is valuable in situations like that. Good that our best two attackers scored. Very hard to watch second half.

Yes we were second best in the second half and Jake made a couple of superb saves. Our forwards were increasingly isolated but still had a couple of excellent chances. We won a free kick in a prime position for a shot on goal but overcomplicated it with a routine that went wrong and not long after a bit of miscommunication between Jordan Y and Matt spoiled a great counter attack after we'd carved through them. Annoyingly they scored their equaliser from the resultant goal kick.

Not being in anyway disrespectful to others who have done it but thanks Neil for being behind the mic. PG as professional as ever.
