I can't justify how disappointed I was with the last two games with words in this text box so looking ahead to Saturday there's only one thing that can start to repair the damage.

A comfortable win.

It's not asking much considering how good this squad is.

After getting good results away at Southport, and home to York City, I thought that was a good base to build our season from. Against Guiesley and Kettering Town, I thought we had another chance of maybe getting another draw and a win.
Unfortunately, not being able to attend the last three matches, the Kettering match (having spoke to Phil Gough on the phone) was the worse. From talking to Phil and reading people's comments on the COF, seems that the Team didn't turn up. Kettering had a game plan, and were more up for it. Think I read that the Kettering Manager, or Coaching Staff, were encroaching our Technical Area? If so, I hope they were dealt with, and if required, sent to the stands.
Chorley away could be difficult, plus now having crowds back, could make for a partisan atmosphere. Chorley had great success in the FA Cup last season, shame for them it was matches behind closed doors.
GCAFC got a brilliant 2 - 1 victory at Chorley last season. A similar result would go someway to repairing the disappointment we experienced against Kettering Town.

Nothing on the new No5 shirt signing does that mean it fell through or did we sign a player but keeping it a secret.

At this stage I’d take a point just to stop the rot

Nether … just means it’s not complete, we’ll try again next week.

Time for some our our undoubtably talented young players to pick up the mantle and come away with a point.

We’ve dipped in to the 21’s today … so this is the first time we’re proving the new set up has merit …

Radio commentary from BBC Lancs

Presumably there’s no other football teams of note based in Lancashire and that’s why they are able to do commentary whilst BBC Glos can’t
