2003 - we were winning 1-0 at home to Yate Town when the floodlights failed. Adie Harris didn't score.

2012 - a defeat against Chester at Whaddon on a Sunday. Of the crowd of 852 more than 500 were Chester fans.

2017 - a heavy defeat at Dartford. Jamie Edge scored for us with a wicked deflection. Massively underwhelming player.
2003:- I was at this game, believe it was a Tuesday night game. Can remember we were waiting about while the floodlights were off. It was getting colder without the floodlights on.

2012:- The Wednesday before this match, we had the Leyton Orient FA Cup tie. On the Thursday morning, I was going on holiday to New York. I missed the Chester game, I went to an Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, to use an iPad to look up the result.

10 years ago today an excellent win at Altrincham. A special one for me because I always considered Alty a big club so to go there and win was extra special.

21st November 1998.

We played Kingtonian at Meadow Park in the FA Trophy. It was a Second Round Tie, watched by a crowd of 652. City lost the match 2 - 1, Andy Tucker scoring for Gloucester.
I honestly cannot recall if I was at this match.
We played Kingstonian in November 1996, at Meadow Park, in the same Competition. We won that Tie 3 - 1. Manager Leroy Rosenior played in goal.

21st Nov 1981 married Joy at midday - had the reception in the upstairs lounge of GCFC at Horton Rd - City were home - we left the guests- watched the match ( I think we beat Witney) and drove to our new home ( allocated by the Police as you couldn’t buy your own house) in Moreton in Marsh. Happy days.

I always loved the story of Graham Gay getting married in the morning then playing for City in the afternoon Smile

21st November 2000. We lost 0-4 at home to Mangotsfield. Considering that one of my first games was a 4-0 win against them in the FA Cup that spell when they were better than us was hard to take. Thankfully the stauts quo has been restored now.

21st November 2010. We beat Chelmsford 1-0 in the FA Trophy thanks to the help of a Russian Linesman

Seven years ago today we lost 1-3 at Colwyn Bay. Most interesting thing was this dog, my photo went viral and it made me an award winning football photographer Wink

24th November 2020.

This happened a year ago today. Gloucester City AFC made the long trip north to take on Gateshead. This match was played on a Tuesday night. Played Behind Closed Doors, City lost the game 1 - 0. I think this was the first game after James Rowe left.

That was the night Carline refused to play because someone hid his dolly.

24th November 2007 City get a late, late winner in the FA Trophy thanks to Alex Allard.
