14 years ago Jack Pitcher scored all five goals as City won 5-0 away at Yate Town in the FA Cup.
Let's make today's another memorable FA Cup day for all the right reasons.

One of my favourite City away days given some of our experiences down there, and my dispassion for Dirty Dave Elsey. Came away very very happy, as I was with the 7-0 hiding we gave them some years later in a cup replay at C********m, Joe Parker first half hat-trick. I came away from both matches feeling very gruntled.

It was actually 5-1, I have no recollection of them scoring.

26th October 2019.
On this day in 2019, GCAFC were away to Spennymoor Town in the National League North.
This was our first trip to there ground, and it was quite an eventful day. Believe that Bobby Gould's Grandson was in goal for Spennymoor, and Adam Boyes, a striker who I had heard of while he was at Guiseley, was now at Spennymoor.
We lost this game 5 - 1. Think we had 2 players sent off, and Vincent Harper who scored our late consolation goal, got injured.
On the Supporters Coach, the new GCAFC Red/Yellow scarves were on sale. Purchased one of those as did a few other people. Looked quite a sight seeing these new scarves being shown off around Spennymoor.

Yep, he did us often back then before his rise to the top.
Just scanning through the old results there have been some pretty notable fixtures this week through the years.

27th October 2009.
On this date in 2009, GCAFC were involved in an FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round Replay Tie. We were drawn against Lowestoft Town, where in the first game against them, we drew 1 - 1 at home (playing at Cirencester Town).
So we had a Replay to play. GCAFC made the long trek to Suffolk on a Tuesday night. The Replay was played in front of a crowd of 2247. Unfortunately there was to be no replay victory, as City lost 4 - 2. Lee Smith was the goalscorer of both City's goals. (Information obtained from Tiger Roar).
