Manager less Slimbridge as he's gone to Evesham.
Fringe players and U21's etc I would think.

 Have we really got a County Cup match this Wednesday? won't be much support for city 
as it's not been mention anywhere. Would have thought this would have been a chance to give those players coming back from injury niggles to get a bit of match fitness in. It wont be a easy game cup games never are ask FGR. Big Grin

I think it was said a while back that it is the U23’s representing the club in this competition, so yes- a chance for some on the fringes to get some minutes & work their way into the managers plans.

It'll probably be the u21's with a handful of first team players. I would say the 21's are pretty much our reserves.

Didn't we used to use County Cup matches to get players suspensions out of the way? Hastily arrange them if key players were out of big games.

Does that loophole still exist?
