Ben Gerring Signs
#21

Ben Gerring signed a contract for this season with NL Woking, I don't see how he could be classed as not up to scratch and for me is EXACTLY the type of player PG should have signed and JR did! Proven NL players not unproven EFL youngsters....

We will have to ask Darren what he thinks of this signing, probably know more about him than most of us living up that end of the country

Totally agree,There's an article on Google on the ins and outs of why he left Woking,He was captain and highly thought of and when they were at our level he was called a "demanding" defender.
Shame we have 3 key players out tommorow but gives others the opportunity to prove their worth.

I hope he scores a massive header from a set piece tomorrow, and it doesn’t get disallowed & result in a red card

He should fit right into a side who can't win games because Woking were awful in the 2nd half of last season when he was playing and Bath weren't much better. Would love to know what went on at Bath given I think he was captain and he hadn't played in a month for them. Having said that he should be a good signing for us given the situation we find ourselves in.

Just corrected your post Ken, signings are down to the manager, surely, Alex has said previously that he’s not involved in the day to day running of the club.

The first bit may happen, just see highlights of his goals for Woking, absolute powerhouse,Him and VVN will be scoring a few if they receive decent delivery.
