Wrexham v GCAFC - FA Trophy - 18/12/2021

The low was a sell out as well as they were only allowed that many for the first home game. FA Trophy unlikely to be as much of a draw though.

Will be great for us if they don't take it seriously and rest loads of players. When you draw the likes of Wrexham you're excited about the potential gate receipts and the day out, if there's a chance we can come away with a result then I doubt anyone will be mentioning the team they put out in years to come.

Great stuff, it's on my day off. Had we beaten Lowestoft in the FA Cup in 2009 we'd have played them then, I'd have been working though Sad

With luck they will under estimate us and as some of there fans say play fringe players.
Either way as under dogs we may cause an upset if they do under estimate us.

Their fans are obviously worried about how injuries and having to rearrange fixtures might impact on their promotion chances - many seem keen that Paul Mullin, who got 32 goals for Cambridge Utd last season and has 9 for Wrexham this time round, goes nowhere near the Trophy. Which would be nice, specially as Ben Gerring will presumably still be banned (?).

Simon Pegg might be a guest of Ryan Reynolds. In a Corporate Box at the Racecourse Ground. The Racecourse Ground brings back bad memories for me. Arsenal played there in the.FA Cup in 1992. Arsenal lost 1 - 0, hope GCAFC can get some revenge.

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
 Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.

Went there two years running watching Brighton in the 70s. Both 0-0 draws so yet to see a goal there!

Just read their forum. Most posts seem to think their above this competition like they don't belong in non-league circles then someone puts a reminder that they've been out of the league for 15 years!

Interesting that they all seem to want to play "the kids" but one reminder that a good Trophy run for them will make for good documentary fooage.
