They then went on to unsettle another 3 players, who all effectively forced moves out of the club to join them as well.  To be honest I think even that would be written off as one of those football things if it wasn't for some of the laughable statements that came out at the time. "Once X became available ......", when it was because of them they became available.

That being said I think for most fans its now more of a pantomime villain type of thing, rather than a sense of real animosity.  Still I imagine there will be a touch of schadenfreude should they not achieve anything this year.

Yep ,all that as well? But what has German Christmas cake got to do with cheaters field???
Merry Christmas to all my Cozens up your way in Mold & Flint , they may be following your forum so if they are ,have a great Christmas  lads and stay out of the swan ( if its still open  ).

Oh no it's not! Wink

The animosity is real, Angry I think they should have been taken to task for 'tapping up', but as usual the powers that be have no guts.

It happens though doesn't it, and I can't be that annoyed at Chesterfield for doing it, when clubs up and down the country do it all the time.  Doesn't mean I wouldn't take some enjoyment from seeing them fail.

I think they actually deserve far more criticism for the furlough thing.

When I think of Wrexham, I think of Arsenal FA Cup upset 1992. Thank you Mickey Thomas.

I've backed Chesterfield for the league so I hope they win it. They have the best squad in the division, the best striker in the division and they can only get better given how many players they have injured at the moment.

Thanks for that . Hope we smash you now ? Only joking. They have had a good run so far they have not played many top teams were we have . There is a lot more to come from us still not clicked yet and are fourth three points behind so not doing bad . Xmas will make or break for us . Live on TV but won’t be anywhere near the team that plays you . Again not too bothered if we lose if so would be nice if you went on and won it

You have the wrong manager and I would be surprised if you won the league under him.

That’s the view of some fans but not done too bad so far . Some strange tactics at times. Can’t seam to get it right at home . Away we are OK there will be some additions come January we are restricted to signing players because we are Welsh and come under the Welsh FA which we think stinks . We played in the English league for Eighty odd years along with the other three Welsh clubs bit racist if you ask me ? We do moan but just get on with it . Just bought my ticket for next week not bad £5

You were lucky to beat Halifax and you have had a fairly kind fixture list away from home and just beaten teams you were expected to beat. He's way out of his depth when it comes to non-league football and as much as Weymouth offered nothing tonight, Wrexham didn't really do much in the final 3rd either. You have scored just 8 goals at home all season, no team is winning the league unless that improves. I'd be quite happy taken our chance against the team that played tonight.
