Very diplomatic on the OS - sadly it doesn’t always work out - cracking bloke - I wish him well.

Agreed, seemed like a really great bloke, but somehow just didn't fit in the team and didn't get much of a chance except to keep a bench seat warm.
119 days (9-Oct-21 - 4-Feb-22)
18 days missing with concussion (9-Oct-21 - 26-Oct-21)
3 starts (1 subbed off)
7 subs
1 non-playing sub
0 goals - 0 assists

I never saw a lack of effort from DNW, unfortunately for us and him, he didn't score and that is the ultimate commodity for a striker.
Good luck Dejon.
Said it numerous times I've no idea if he is any good or not, as his chances were extremely limited, that said you can't keep using budget to pay someone who isn't going to play.  Glad he has found another club (wonder if this is what delayed the official announcement), as firstly its his livelihood and its never nice for someone to be out of work, and secondly his spell with us obviously didn't help his mental health if his social media post is anything to go by.  Lets hope it works out for all concerned.
I suspect signing a 2 year contract and then finding your manager doesn't want to play you probably doesn't do much for your mental health. He's had numerous clubs now and has yet to settle anywhere and he needs to drop a level.
It has to be said given his track record and inability to settle it was a surprise to sign him on a 2 year deal.
Yes I know hindsight is a wonderful thing...
Sad fact is that since scoring on his debut for Billericay away to Bath in Jan 2020 he hasn't scored in 26 competitive appearances (including 5 international starts for Grenada). Shame, the DNJ we saw in 2019 looked a bit raw, but a real prospect. Good luck to the lad at relegation threatened Braintree.

One thing that has become glaring obvious since we went full time is that there are far too many professional footballers looking for a wage and far too many who don't play much. If you like playing football it must be a **** living.

When you miss the sort of chance that he did against Farsely that is no surprise.
