I can never recall walking out of a competitive game with 25 minutes still to go.
The last home game was dire enough and we were over 250 down this afternoon despite the performance on Monday at Hereford.
How can a squad perform with a lack of consistency.
We started by allowing Curzon to have the ball without any pressure or concern. It took us 30 minutes to register a shot.
What is wrong?
Next home game on a Tuesday night vs Telford we will be lucky to see 350 attending.
AP & EMG need to ask some serious questions. Were Hereford really that bad last week?
I left dispirited and unless something happens it’s going to be a very long season. We need a complete analysis after what was inept to give the performance some clarity.

You’ve said it all there Colin. I’ve got nothing to add, except perhaps our squad think Saturday is their day off?
The last two wins have been on weekdays - Tuesday night against Peterborough Sports and Monday afternoon against Hereford.
We lack any kind of dynamism. How are we a year on from defeat against Curzon at home last season and we don’t look to have improved.
We need our best players on the pitch, and they are sat in the stands. In years gone by these so called injuries would never have flown, you don’t get over 700 competitive games by crying off injured all the time, some of this lot will be lucky to get to 100 games. Embarrassing.
what was attendance today?
I can't even think what we did so wrong this afternoon. Everyone put in a shift but they were at their limit and still lost 0-3.
What baffles me is that they train on this pitch all week, but still can’t seem to judge how the ball plays on it. I lost count of the amount of balls we played over the top that just went straight through to their keeper or out for a goal kick, what happened to this nice passing style of football we were trying to play at the end of last season?

Agreed - it was similar to Brackley, I don’t think there’s ever a lack of effort, it just felt like there were too many stupid mistakes being made out there, and no clear plan going forward until the last 10/15 minutes

Men against boys today I'm afraid. Whilst Curzon played the better football in the first half we hung on and even created a bit ourselves. I thought they might tire second half and with a half time rejig we might prevail. Unfortunately after Egan's mistake for their first ( he's just a young lad) we seemed to collapse and lost all confidence. Tommy was very unambitious all game. Whilst LM's Rovers youth contacts serve us well there's no substitute for a bit of experience with some backbone when things get tough. I was surprised to see we lacked a physio today, that surely must have made the players cautious. Also LM spent the game sat on the bench. Maybe he was I'll. I'm not sure. I'm expecting a very up and down season unless we can get a couple more wise heads on the pitch soon.

I think it was there this afternoon for all to see- yes it wasn’t through the lack of effort but lack of quality- it would I think be unfair for anyone to start naming players but 3-4 aren’t up to the required standard end of.
Effort will not replace skill and likewise experience and at our level you get found out - eg today- also v Brackley.
Ive said it on many other threads we are consistently inconsistent.
Brandman wrote we're Hereford that bad ! Yes they were but today we we're worst then they were. We couldn't keep hold of the ball and when we did have it' gave it away cheaply in dangerous places ? To sum up today's game in one word ,CRAP.
