Very Sad News to hear that the Queen had passed away. She did things in a calm and graceful way. If you are a fan of the Royals or not, you respected her for her Service to her Country. She had the skill in setting the right tone when giving a Speech. During the Pandemic, she gave a Speech, in it she delivered a Quote. Sorry, can't recall what it is correctly, it was something along the lines of 'We will meet our Families again', I found those words to be helpful.
When Arsenal moved to the Emirates in 2006, the Queen was due to Officially Open it. I believe she was unable to attend this engagement. So the Arsenal Team were invited to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace. They were given a Tour, and had Afternoon Tea.

One great lady that can never be replaced RIP
I’m a bit of a Monarchist, but I’m genuinely surprised how sad I feel at the news. A constant for our whole lives for most of us, and it will feel very strange for a long time.
A wonderful Lady. RIP.
I'm not anti-monarchy, but I'm very much not a Royalist either.
I cared for her as much as she cared for me. I can't get my head around why anyone would care to be honest, but an old woman has passed away and I get that it's sad for her family so don't get the joy that some people seem to have in her passing either.
This has really brought out the unnecessary hatred in a lot of people. I hope Trevor Sinclair is job hunting this morning.
That's good self criticism Neil
He's stirring up racial hatred. He's the bad guy, not me

I don’t think you need to feel genuine grief to acknowledge that it’s a major historical event.
I think a lot of the negative responses are from people who either though immaturity or just lack of emotional intelligence are afraid of the idea that history isn’t just some remote stuff that happened in the past, it’s happening to us right now and what happens will be recorded and studied in the future just as we look back on the monarchs of the past.
It gets me how people are willing to come out and announce themselves as anti-Royalists, some like that Scottish woman and her chippy, she had her two minutes now her business is ruined.
But the bigger picture, those who for whatever reason want to scrap to Monarchy. Imagine London without Buckingham Palace.
Why would they knock down Buckingham Palace?
It would still be a huge tourist trap.
